Problem for Sony Handycam DCR-DVD105 DVD Camcorder

How to connect a macbook pro and a handycam DCR-DVD105.

I have a macbook pro and a handycam DCR-DVD105. I would like to download the videos that I have taken on my handycam to my MacBook Pro. What is the best way to do this?

I have already discovered that i can not just finalize the disc and load it onto the Mac.

Help!!

If your cam has a firewire connection, you could plug it into the macbook and use iMovie to transfer the videos over. You can also get an external DVD drive to put those tiny DVDs into to transfer it over.
