Question about HP Compaq Presario R4000 Notebook
I dropped it on a tile floor. The computer seems to power up but the monitor doesn't come on. I tried connecting a remote monitor but it didn't come on either.
It's quite possible that the mother board (your main circuit board) and/or display adapter was damaged. Your only recourse now, most likely, is to contact HP. Good luck!
