I have a jazzy 1107 power wheel chair the back wheels are leaned outward i dont think the back wheels should be leaned outward i think this is what is causing me not be able to be able to turn properly. However by hand i can move the back wheels back into its upright position it appears that there is some black rubber pieces on each of the rear wheels that where a screw goes inside of the black rubber going inside of the rear frame but on each side of the rear wheels the black rubber pieces are cracked making the rear turning wheels drag i was wondering if i could put a large C-Clamp around rear frame of the rear wheels in keeping the rear wheels in the upright position and am hoping that with the rear wheels being in the upright position like i see in th online photos that it will allow my back wheels to swivel when i turn keeping the back wheels from sticking when i turn because when i leaned the power chair on its side and with weight not being on the power chair the rear wheels will swivel and not drag

Have some one check out that the section has not become loose or broken. IF the wheel rubbers are damaged then you will have trouble regardless of what you do. I consider it paramount that the chair is in top condition for your needs. Have the manufacturer's service agent fix it for you.

Yes, the main controller module can be very expensive to replace. I would take it to a reputable dealer if the battery replacement does not help.

Look in your owners manual for the flash code anwser. Make sure when you hit the power button you only touch it for 1 sec not more. If you press the power button for more the 2-3 seconds you place the power chair in LOCK OUT mode. lights will flash and not power. also check your free wheel levers. one on each moter. Mike

When a chair sits for a long period of time ( four weeks or more) without being charged, the batteries die. To help you with the freewheel mode I would have to know what model of Jazzy it is.

SOURCE: Battery fully charged chair levers engaged to

Has your scooter been sitting idle for several weeks, or has it been connected to the charger 24 hours a days for a long time? If so, the batteries may have become damaged and will give you enough power to turn the controller on but not enough to make the motors run.
If the lights come on and are steady, the manual brake levers are in the drive position and the chair still will not move, I recommend replacing the batteries. If anything else were wrong, either the lights would flash or not come on at all.
I hope this information is helpful to you, good luck!

I know that 95 durometer EVA is available from other sources like shoe findings suppliers. This is about 1/2" by 1" by 1.5" and if a mechanic was able, he could fix you up with that. If that is what you need, they could help you out without having to replace the whole assembly.

I JUST PURCHASED A JAZZY WHEEL CHAIR AND IT IS I THINK 2003 MODEL WHEN TURNED ON THERE ARE 3 RED LIGHTS AND 4 YELLOW LIGHTS FLASHING AND NOTHING HAPPENS

the 7 lights indicate a joystick problem which means the joystick/controller will have to be replaced since there is no self repair fix Unless you can locate a good used joystick/controller for cheap (around $600.00 rebuilt) I would return the chair and get my money back Hope this helps

My mother-in-law has a jazzy 113 for about 6-7 years and the 2 wheels broke in half. How can this happen when it is a solid wheel? Please let me know what to do. Its the back wheels.

Liz First Did Medicare buy MIL's chair? If they did contact me @ [email protected] and I'll give you more info. Now after that long the tires get brittle and usually need replacement. You can contact the provider where MIL got her chair and have them get the caster wheels for the chair. Hope this helps

How to push the jazzy wheel chair when power fails''

There are two levers located on the base of the chair on the left and right sides. Depending on the model, they will be located on top of the base on the front section of the chair base, or on the rear or on the lower sides. Most rotate 90 degrees to disengage the gears so you can manually push the chair. Others are moved up and down, or in and out. Return them to the locked position when done.
