Question about Whirlpool Ultimate Care II LSQ9549L Top Load Washer
I have a GE 157 top load washer; the rinse cycle works fine, but the wash cycle just hums, and does not allow the water to fill or the agitator to spin.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: will not agitate, spin or drain
There's a coupler that normaly goes.just tip the machine over and loosen the motor.the coupler will be 3 legged and plastic.just replace and it should be ok.

If the washer won't finish a spin cycle, it probably means that your timer went bad or stalled. You can take the control panel off and look at the contacts for scorching or corrosion.

if it cuts off the water ok and motor running
it could be a coupling .
if no motor noise
could be motor .
