Question about Kyocera K10 Royale Cellular Phone
When we plug the phone in to charge it turns off and doesn't turn on again. I have switched batteries from my phone to my daughter's phone and then her phone works again, until the next time it gets plugged in to charge and then it shuts off and will not power up again. I think it is the phone itself not the batteries. Is there some kind of reset button? Anyone else had this problem? Daughter says she hasn't done anything to it, if she did I am not sure she knows what she did.
Kyocera K10 Chronic Problem. It Shuts Off Unintentionally, Automatically.
There is an inherent problem in the K10 cell phone and VirginMobile knows it. They will automatically shut off several times a day at random intervals.
They will send a 'refurbished' replacement free of charge. Most of these are phones customers sent back for the same problem. They give it a quick test and then send it along as a replacement to the next customer.
After the third ( that's right, count 'em, THREE) replacement phones, they finally sent me an Kyocera Oyster phone as a replacement.
I had my original phone 2 years before the problem began. I read somewhere that it is a virus afflicting the K10. Virgin Mobile will not officially acknowledge th problem but their some of thier customer service reps will. Have this problem? Contact VM.

Hold down the "call" and "hang up" buttons at the same time--worked for me.
