How you selected transparency in the print driver as well? if not this could be overriding the printer setting.

Hi!!! in that kind of problem maybe the paper sensor was defective and it can't detect the kind of paper you loaded to your printer.

Lexmark T644 Drawer 2 Missing error message but drawer 2 is in place. Drawer 2 always has problems pulling form form drawer when printing from drawer 2.

If job prints from the wrong tray or on the wrong paper or specialty media, this is an indication that the operator panel menu settings do not match the media loaded in the tray.

Make sure the Paper Size and Paper Type specified in the printer driver match the paper size and type in the tray.

Blue smudge marks are printing on the edge of the paper

These defects normally occur when printing is attempted on unsupported media or when the printer is set up for a different type of media than the media that is actually loaded into the machine.

Check your media and ensure that it is suitable for use in the printer. Refer to the printer's user manual for information on supported media types and weights. Is the media you are printing on supported in the printer?

Ensure that the paper type is set accurately on the printer operator panel (go to Menu/Paper Menu/Size-Type/Tray1/Type). Is the paper type set correctly on the printer operator panel?

Change the paper weight setting to heavy on the printer operator panel (go to Menu/Paper Menu/Size-Type/Tray1/Type/Heavy Paper/Check button). Try printing your document again. Did the error return? If the error returns, please contact Lexmark Technical Support for further assistance.

I have a Lexmark C534n color printer error message comes up 120.10 service fuser error. What does this mean.?

It means there's an issue with the fuser, and the fuser likely needs service or replacement. I would not recommend doing this yourself if you haven't done this before, take it to a repair shop.

My Lexmark X6170 won't print or partially prints e-mail. Also it won't copy in black but will copy in color? When this happens I get the 0502 error message. Any idea as to what is wrong and how to...

The 0502 error code indicates either a faulty cartridge is detected or the encoder strip (transparent strip) is dislodged from its position. Refer to this article in the Lexmark website on Error 0502 on the Lexmark X6150/X6170 Printer LCD Display to determine and resolve the problem. Thanks.

Hello I have an HP 2600n and would like to print on 5x7 paper, is this a possibility with this printer? it seems that it will pull the paper through but nothing is printed

Copied this from the specification on HP site.

It would appear not to take 5 x 7. It's the 7" is to small, 8.5 is the smallest.

Media sizes, std.
Letter, legal, executive, No. 10 envelopes, Monarch envelopes
Media sizes, custom
Tray 1, 2, 3: 3 x 5 to 8.5 x 14 in
Media types
Paper (plain, letterhead, prepunched, bond, color, rough, preprinted, recycled), HP Color Laser Glossy Photo Paper, HP Color Laser Glossy Brochure Paper, HP Color Laser Matte Brochure Paper, HP Color Laser Matte Photo & Imaging Paper, HP Color Laser Soft Gloss Presentation Paper, HP color laser transparencies, labels, envelopes, cardstock

The color streaks on the pages

There are several possibilities...
1.The Type setting is wrong for the type of paper or specialty media you are using. Change Paper Type to match the paper or specialty media you are using.

2.The Texture setting is wrong for the type of paper or specialty media you are using. Change Paper Texture from Normal to Smooth or Rough.

3. The Weight setting is wrong for the type of paper or specialty media you are using. Change Paper Weight from Plain to CardStock (or other appropriate weight).

4. The fuser is worn or defective. Replace the fuser.

Lockups and 900.00 Service RIP software errors on C534N printers.

are these printers hooked to surge protectors? 900 rip error is a software communications error and can be caused by any pcb in the printer. any surge, lightning strike, ect can cause the nvram chips to have problems these errors can be intermitten or continuious depending on the damge to the nvram. have you tried isolating any of these to see if it still has the problem off the network?
