Are lawn water slides dangerous?

Well, slip 'n slides are safe for children but not for adults. Adult risk stopping mid slide and injuring themselves. Even a 13 year old was injured as a result of sliding down that thing.

My throttle position markings have worn off. Is start position to the front or rear? It cranks in both but quickly dies.

Usually if you push the lever forward that is the start position (or choke position) once started in this position from cold start, slide back this should be fast, slide a little further back and this should be slow then all the back should stop. Have not worked on a lawn boy silver for about two years now but all are about the same, anyhow give that a go, good luck!
