The private house water slides are usually smaller than the ones used at carnivals, in schools or for picnics, which are usually much bigger and inflatable
Well, slip 'n slides are safe for children but not for adults. Adult risk stopping mid slide and injuring themselves. Even a 13 year old was injured as a result of sliding down that thing.
I'm not sure what generation Carousel you have. And I'm assuming in it's current state you can place a tray on the projector & rotate it all around, but no slide will drop. That means something is holding the slide lift lever it it's "up" position. The SELECT button is spring-loaded, so that it should return to "button up / slide lift lever down" when the button is released. You can check to see if the spring has broken or unhooked (requires removing the bottom cover). Beyond that, this could be a jam in the slide change mechanism, which requires a level of training to diagnose. I recommend you contact a factory-trained repair dealer for assistance. The good news: parts are still available from: www.micro-tools.com Good Luck !
Yes!! The projector is equipped with a "dark shutter", which means light is only allowed to exit the projector when a slide is in the gate. That eliminates the "white screen strain" on your eyes when no slide is present. Happy New Year!
In order to scan 35mm slides to your computer, you need a scanner that has the capability of doing this. These scanners will either come with a 35mm adapter that will allow you to scan the slides, or there are scanners that will scan only 35mm slides. A good recommendation is either this or this.
