Question about New World E60Cm Electric Single Oven
After a power failure this oven only heats up to a low, enough to warm things through only, heat. It will not get up to anything like the full heat that it used to, even when turned up full
SOURCE: Oven wont heat up properly
This may be the thermostat control.
I would find someone to check the resistance of the element with an ohm meter.
It should read 15 to 20 ohms.
Put the timer on manual first and try the oven, because it could be the timer.
It would be ok to just replace the bottom oven element because most of the time it is a faulty element.

Problem solved, Turned out to be the flame fail device. Next problem was sourcing part. Turns out that allegedly Cannon is now owned by Hotpoint so sourced part through them

SOURCE: oven not heating up [fan works]
It wilbe a faulty oven element, you will need ti fit a new one.
It is located at the rear of the oven, behind a removeable cover.
