Expensive but buy custom car seats and have them installed. Ones that have been " highway safety approved". Any other alteration not previously tested is very dangerous not only to you and your passengers but others on the road if you loose control of your car.

Get a good DIY mechanic to remove the seat, see if it can be rewelded or request the part from a dealer or retrieve one from a junk yard.

Gaining a few extra inches of leg room, driver seat.

1. move the drivers seat all the way forward 2. from the back seat, locate the clip attached to the right side drivers seat rail. 3. lift the clip up using a screw driver or pliers. The clip is flexible metal and can be removed and replaced without harm.

2004 escape. want to move manual passenger seat forward 6" to carry a load that is 78" long. with seat at maximum forward position, can only get 72".

The seat only goes as far as it goes. If yo need more room than your only other option is to remove the seat or recline the seat back and hope the load will fit over the seat.

I’m happy to assist further over the phone at

Suzuki alto leg room

No not really because the body must be reinforced where the seat bolts down or it can tear loose in a crash and you can be severely injured. The only real fix is buy a car that fits you unfortunately.

Power seats will not go back far enough for my long legs!

you have to push the seat back while you push the button in the back motion! your motor for the power seating is dying same thing while mine it will work though just for you to drive with your long legs! but when u shut the car off and put it in park it moves far back enough for you to get out right???

The front driver seat on 2004 Camry is stuck

Perhaps an item got caught under the seat and possibly affected the linkage wire between rail tracks.A small linkage wire trips the console side track.Without this, that particular track will not disengage.Look under the good working passenger side seat and you might notice this linkage wire.It will then give you an opportunity to see if it works well on the inop seat. You can pull that wire(or trip that linkage arm by hand if you are in a dilemma and need the seat moved in order to drive but use caution on these moving parts and dont get pinched.

No leg room

yes you can remove the center seat but it involves pulling the front pass seat out then taking the two right hand bolts out of the drivers seat then it will pull out then just use the same bolts to reinstall your driver a pass seat
