Even on the lowest setting, it is cooling too much.

It's just as previous person, on warmest setting vegetables and meat are freezing in drawers

If you have no control of your air conditioner and it just runs with the unit on even when adjusting the setpoint, your thermostat is bad

Possible failure of the thermostat or the sensor to the thermostat that is not working to control the cooling temperature and hence making the compressor work.

Try and set the thermostat to lowest just a little before it cuts off , if this wont work then the thermostat is faulty. Check the wires of the sensor to the cooling coils.

I would definately start there. That is what contols the cycling of the compressor.

There is a thermostat inside the casing telling the fridge to keep cooling - forever.
Replace it

The evaporator is mounted above and on top of the heater unit inside the box. It sounds like this cleaning is the issue if cool air is coming out. Very slow though, right? Good luck and keep me posted please. - Ned

The lowest setting in the freezer compartment may be set to cold holding back cooling to the refrigerator. Try your settings at mid-point on both refrigerator and freezer settings.
