Printerhead I just received a new printerhead for my 5100 so how do i remove the old one and put in the new one

Take a flat screwdriver and push up the middle clip and the head will click out.

Printerhead missing


Make sure you inserted the correct cartridge and you inserted it correct. Also check is all contacts on the cartridge and in the printer are clean and shiny. Did you remove all plastic, of the package, as described?
Just one speck of dust, a almost invisible small piece of peper or plastic can spoil al the fun.

Blue ink will not print. new ink, all other colors print just no blue.


I'm having the same problem, so far I've removed the printerhead and using a cotton swab, cleaned the printer head using an solution of alcohol antiseptic. so far its not been successful, however I did just put in a few drops of the solution and going to run about 6 test sheets and let it soak overnight to see if that helps.

Printerhead bad


Hi did you take the old printer head out? If so then the new one should go in the same way the old one came out. I know thats kind of duh thing, but its what came to mind. Printerhead instillation instructions needed for kodak 5500


Wait until the printhead is idle and silent, then pinch the pinch latch on the ink cartridge with your thumb and forefinger and lift it out of the print head. Remove both ink cartridges.

Unlatch the printhead by pressing the button in the upper-left corner of the carriage.

How do I remove old printhead and install a new one?


open the access door at the top of the printer

Remove the ink cartridges

Put your finger in the upper left corner of the printhead ( inside)

you will feel a small latch rigth there push it upward

the printhead will loose and you may now remove the printhead

Need instructions for putting in a new printhead


Hello ahieser,

To remove the old printhead, you need to remove the ink cartridges first. And then remove the printhead by pushing the button at the top of the printhead while disengaging it from the carrier.

How to instal a laptop dvd rw


open cd rom tray.open laptop lcd screen flat, remove the 2 screens on the back of the hinges.carefully remove the bezel(just above the keyboard, with the power buttons etc )from right to left.remove 2 screws securing keyboard.you will see one screw that holds the cd/dvd rom in place.remove screw,pul on tray carefully, cd rom will slide out. replace with new cd rom.
