I just got a new game open it from the package and my xbox 360 says it is unreadable. i switched to another game and is says the samething it has done this to all of my gmaes i own and it is really frustrating. Is there anyway you can help?
This sounds like a damaged or broken laser. This should be fixable by replacing the DVD drive, but this process WILL void your warrant (unless it has already been voided. If it has already been voided then full steam ahead with drive replacement.)
If you still have your warranty, then the best solution is to send it out to Microsoft for repair.
If your warranty is void, then replacing the drive will probably do the trick. It must be an xbox DVD drive. That is the only one that will work. They're on eBay for about $30, provided you can open an xbox and switch out the drives. If that doesn't work, then I'm stumped.

We can fix this for you. We offer dvd drive replacement service for $59.99 and we are a listed repair service on this site. www.videogamerepairservice.com
find out which dvd drive you have, hitachi, samsung, phillips, etc...then buy a 20 dollar replacement same brand, switch the little green board from yours to the new one, new drive no errors...hope it helps...
it means the one that wont read is scratched, dirty or defective, my advice is to clean it if its dirty, get a cd repair kit if its scratched or take it back if its defective.
theres a known problem with the hitashi dvd drive in the xbox 360.
the only solution to this is a home repair job, look up on youtube on how to do this, although this isnt recommended as it voids warranty.
so the best way is definitely just to ring microsoft and send ur console in for repair.
