Question about Toshiba Satellite A55-S1063 Notebook
Installed a 250GB hard drive on Toshiba laptop A55-s1063 and it only recoginizes 127GB what is the problem
Ensure that LBA is enabled in the bios on the laptop and also read the manual for the laptop in terms of hard drive issues ( possibly contact toshiba )
There may also be a firmware update that may rectify the issue so I would check into updating the firmware - check there website for the correct firmware and read the read me.
It is VITAL that you get the correct one and that it does not power off whilst you are doing the firmware update otherwise it will kill your laptop.
Also if this resolves the issue please rate this as a fix
If you need more help / more info please feel free to post back
