Washing machine not filling with water not...

At the start of washing cycle nothing happens at all.Machine does not fill with water and when you manually advance dial to further into wash mode machine starts to spin.It does not rinse in (rinse /spin) cycle but spins only and of course when dial advances to spin mode it does that effecively with pump operating.
I have checked taps on wall and tubes to machine all clear and working.I have checked connections to machine where hose filters are for hot and cold and they are clear. Also looked at both inlet valves they are closed to allowing water in.How does unit tell them to open?Checked tube to pressure chamber seemed clear. When i blew air thru tube to to pressure switch I saw it click etc.Can you please help.Do not know what to do next?Replace inlet valves?Pressure swith? or use machine as anchor for my boat!.

like the anchor idea?, no sorry, this does sound like the water is not getting to the machine, so, when you turn the machine on does it make a slight buzzing noise, if so the fault is no water in the pipes to the machine (from the house), if no buzzing check the solenoids with a multimeter for open circuit (removing the 2 wires first) oh and the plug obviously / replace solenoid if needed, i am sure this will cure your problem, if so rate me please, thank you
