Polaroid i532 black screen and red to green light

My camera was working fine up until a few hours ago. I went to upload pics and the screen went black. The light flicks back and forth from red to green. I changed batteries thinking that was the problem and nope it didn't help. PLEASE someone help.

I'm having the same problem! I thought it was because my battery wasn't charged, since that's what they suggest in the troubleshooting section of the manual. But as soon as I plug in my battery it goes from red to green, and then the camera still won't stay on and the lens is out. Suggestions??

The voltage from the power adapter is critical for proper operation. If it's a little low, the lights will work, but not the picture. There are capacitors on the motherboard that fail with age, so check them too.
