Question about Macromedia Flash MX
Can you pleas explain to me why am i getting a macromedia flash warning,it is saying could not find macromedia flash.what do i need to do.as i have download adobe flash player 220.127.116.11
I find that in most cases the problem is not with your flash player, so trying to uninstall and reinstall does not work. You need to look at what may be usinging your flash. It may be your screensaver that is trying to turn on and not finding the flash player. So reinstall screensaver. But usually it is a program that acceses your flash player, not the player itself. I hope this has been of some help. Bear

I had the same problem. Adobe sent me the following solution and it worked for me. See if it works for you. Especially note the part about the missing or incorrectly named ocx file. Hope it works for you. blpen I understand that you#re getting this message, #Could not find the Macromedia Flash# Could you verify if you#ve tried to upgrade your Flash Player version before you got this message? If so, it is possible that Flash Player did not register correctly when you tried to upgrade it as a result, the ocx file cannot be located. Let's try to resolve this by doing the Following: 1 Please go to the version test page to verify your Flash Player version: www.adobe.com/go/tn_15507 2 Browse to C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash 3 Please check if you have these two ocx files: Flash9d.ocx and Flash.ocx 4 If flash.ocx is missing, please make a copy of flash9d.ocx and paste it on the same directory. 5 Rename the copy to flash.ocx Please check if the issue still persists.
