Blue goes to your head unit's blue wire. It switches the eq on when the head unit is switched on. It also gets tied into the amp's blue wire (if you are using an amp, and I guess you are since you have a passive eq...). The fact that there are 2 is just for conveinience I think (99% sure) If I recall one may have a white stripe, and the other none. If you want to be sure, with all power DISCONNECTED to everything, and the harness plugged into the EQ, use a multimeter to see if there is continuity (connection) between the 2 blue wires. Then you can rest assured they gave you a second one just for a "pass thru" to your amps, but inside they are electrically connected, and are essentially the same piece of wire.

Hi,
The Black wire is the Hot or positive wire and the White wire is the nuetral or negative wire.
The green wire gets hooked to the frame or any metal part of the dishwasher...usually there is a green screw inside the little box where the wires hook up

You are doing right on what you described. I really like to work with a clearly described what involved in an issue.

Now we have to use a Voltmeter to check if there is power to the amplifier. If there is power to the amplifier terminal, then the problem is at the amplifier, not the connection. Let check it out:

1- Turn on your Kenwood radio, make sure to hear sound from your regular speakers.
2- Turn remote control knob to the mid level between min and max.
3- Measure the blue wire where you spliced to ground to see if you have 12V, if it is not then the problem is right there.
4- Measure the Red wire power from the Amplifier to ground ( the bolt that you connect the negative power to see if there is 12V, if not trace back to the Fuse that you inserted between the positive terminal of the battery and the wire going through the firewall to correct it.
5- If you have 12V at step 3 and 4, then you have a defect unit, return it to the manufacturer for a replacement.

I need to know the sequence on how to connect my Power LED, Reset Switch, HDD LED, and M/B Switch up correctly. I have an MS-7142 VER:1 Can you help me?

Hi carlmtclem, your not alone when it comes to hooking up the right led connector to the MSI MB. Firstly, you need to know what wire color is positive & which is negative. Most commonly the color white is ground/negative. Wire colors do vary from case to case. So look at your case led wires. Which ever color is common for each 2-pin connector, is negative. (Except the speaker wire).
All other colors are positive.
(The speaker wire color for negative is usually black & red is positive).
Your MSI board has two separate sets of pins.
JFP2 is used for the speaker only. Do not connect the power led there.

Pin one for JFP1 is shown in the manual. Pin 1 is positive & pin 3 is negitive for the HDD-LED, ECT.

Thats it.

Post here.
Good luck carlmtclem!
Thank you for using fixya.

Don't know which is the positive and negitive wires

To be honest, it really doesn't matter - the speaker is just a resistor electrically, which is not a polarized component. You can hook either wire up to either side and you will get the same sound. In any pair of speaker wires, do you have one with a stripe and one without? If so, the striped wire is the negative wire. If you have a light colored wire and a dark colored wire, usually the darker one is ground (ie, yellow wire and purple wire in a pair for example - the purple would be the negative and the yellow would be the positive). But honestly it doesn't really matter which one goes to which terminal - electrically they have no real difference. If you hook them up "backwards" from what the factory intends, when the speaker plays, it'll pulse inward rather than outward from its mounting frame. It'll move the same distance with the same velocity however, so it'll create the same sound.
