Question about Jenn-Air JCD2295HES Side by Side Refrigerator
Recently my side-by-side started collecting water and freezing it in the bottom of the freezer compartment, I know not from where the water originates, the ice maker and water dispenser work as normal... I noticed the problem after the freezer went through it's normal defrost cycle and water began dripping out onto the floor. I removed the ice tray and made sure nothing was keeping it from sliding in all the way and that the water tube was still firmly connected. Where could the water be coming from?
Your defrost drain is clogged. Get all the ice out and get to the defrost drain hole at the very rear bottom of the freezer. I use a piece of plastic tubing to run down them and clean them out, but you can use a piece of wire if it doesn't have a sharp end that will damage the tube. You can also remove the rear cover of the fridge and you will see the tube going from the cabinet to the drain pan and clean it from there. Post back if you need further help.
