Nothing electrical is working - Teac Nostalgia GF-680 3-Disc CD Changer

Check battery voltage.

It's an older mechanical injector diesel and fuel control so once running it needs no electrical power. The dash lights etc. are easily powered by the alternator. But once you shut if off, a bad battery cell or poor battery connection may effective kill the electrical system.

we had a spoon fall into my mom's. turn it over and check that there is nothing stopping it from working the other think I would check is to make sure you did not blow the fuse or breaker that controls the wall plug.

have you checked the main fuses in the box ?
does the key switch have power ?

If nothing works, I would check the battery cable connections first.
You may need a meter or test light to check the fuses and other circuits to follow the power from the battery.

Check all of your fuses inside and under the hood of your car

check the drum belt, some dryers have a "kill" switch when the belt breaks the dryers will do nothing.

check battery voltage
& make sure terminals are clean & tight
there should be a FUSABLE LINK on the positive wire just back from battery,s + it mabe blown

Replaced electric control panel. Looks like power spike fried the works

You may only be receiving 110 volts, instead of the 240 volts needed to operate. (Thus, only the light coming on)

Did you reset the dryer circuit breakers?
Are you receiving 240v to the plug?
