I have an MTD8 timer, that fits into my main electrical board

I have an MTD8 timer, that fits into my main electrical DB board, to control my hot water cylinder. The instructions that came with the timer seem incomplete, where can I download an instruction booklet that makes more sense. I presume the same chip is used in a number of different timer configurations.

Wizzard: there are 7 square buttons and 1 round rest button. What are the markings on each button and position of each button? Your answer mentions 4 buttons: Clock W H M and reset button, but does not talk about 3 of the buttons.

  • Wizzard 300 Jul 06, 2011

    Button markings:

    Top row - Left to Right: W+, H+, M+, RES/RCL

Bottom row - Left to Right: C+, ['Clock' symbol], R (reset)

Reset is the round recessed button.

Maytag neptune dryer pf code

it sounds like you have a bad computer board if it's stuck on 19 minutes and the pf is for power failure, this is only a guess, the best thing would be to call in a tech to check it so you know what the problem is,the board is expensive or you can order the board from repair clinic,if it's not the problem you can send the board back to them.did your power go out for some reason like a storm or something?this can take out any computer board

Component failures on Maytag Neptune Font Load Washers such as the pressure switch, wax motor, hot and cold water valve solenoids, timer motor, 24 VDC circuit, and the overall electrical buffer circuit have significant effect on the machine control board. Failed resistors on the control board can be used to determine failed washer components. Resistor R9 is associated with the pressure, R11 is for the wax motor, R51 for the hot water valve solenoid, R52 for the timer motor, R53 for the cold water valve solenoid, R143 for the 24 VDC circuit, and R162 for the overall electrical buffer circuit. The TRIAC Q6 is also associated with the wax motor while TRIACS Q3, Q9, and Q17 are for the timer motor, cold water valve solenoid, and hot water valve solenoid respectively. These TRIACS must also be replaced should the corresponding resistors have failed or burned out.

Maytag Neptune Front Load Washers Machine Control Board Repair

Component failures on Maytag Neptune Font Load Washers such as the pressure switch, wax motor, hot and cold water valve solenoids, timer motor, 24 VDC circuit, and the overall electrical buffer circuit have significant effect on the machine control board. Failed resistors on the machine control board can be used to determine failed washer components. Resistor R9 is associated with the pressure switch, R11 is for the wax motor, R51 for the hot water valve solenoid, R52 for the timer motor, R53 for the cold water valve solenoid, R143 for the 24 VDC circuit, and R162 for the overall electrical buffer circuit. The TRIAC Q6 is also associated with the wax motor while TRIACS Q3, Q9, and Q17 are for the timer motor, cold water valve solenoid, and hot water valve solenoid respectively. These TRIACS must also be replaced should the corresponding resistors fail or burn out especially when there's no power going to the associated component.

The most common problem experienced is the failure of the wax motor as indicated by the inability of the washer to advance to the high speed spin cycle with the "door locked" light not lit. Replace the TRIAC Q6 and the resistor R11 on the machine control board to get the machine back into operation. Use MAC97A6 or NTE5656 for Q6 and a 3.9 kilo-ohms carbon or carbon film resistor for R11. It is recommended to install a 1/2-ampere pico fuse in series with the wax motor to prevent damage to Q6 and R11 should the wax motor shorts out and fails again.

Replacement of the wax motor is a must before installing the repaired or new machine control board to prevent damage to the repaired or new part. Make sure the wiring harness connections of washer components are good and snug fit. Reseat the connectors several times to clean off corrosion build up both on the connectors and terminals.

What is NOS DB?
You want to control 3 locations of lights using 1 control panel.
Are you going to run wire from each light to the control panel?
Are you using 120Volt or 240V? What voltage are you using?

Model number of control panel is unknown, and which timer is inside control panel is unknown. Copy following link for overview of control panels.

Timer beeper failure on Whirlpool Gold oven/range oven

Most of the beepers I am familiar with are built into the main control clock board assembly. The only way to repair this is to replace the whole main control board, not a cheap part.

Hot water valve not closing

there's a water level sensor which sends the electronic signal to the control board to close the valve. There's tiny little pipe going from the top of the drum. at the end of it, the level sensor.
Also make sure you've used Normaly Closed type valve (NC).
None of above? then it's the control board

Neff Oven

It appears that the timer has gone faulty, possibly because of a short in the bulb holder, which probably explains why there is no display and the main oven not working. the top will still work as it is not controlled by the timer.
the solution hear would to be fit a new timer.
