What kind of problem?

I have the delay adjustment set on "test". It comes on right away but turns off too soon. If the delay it turned to anything but "test", it will not come on immediately. Is this switch defective? I have another for another location but don't want to open the package until I know the answer to this question.

Toshiba tw40f80 cannot adjust green and blue

ok, if you do have a sound problem it is separate from the convergence trouble; this set uses two STK-392-110 ic's. you need to change both and any of the resistors near them that may be gone or open---then adjust the set with the original remote--you can do the adjustments in the customer menu or if needed in the TECH menu-I can tell you how to get into that menu--if you have no sound from the speakers in the set that is a separate issue.

I do this here for free--if you have questions or need help reply here--if this has helped you give me a vote here.

Most of these sets with a convergence problem just need the two chips replaced and the set adjusted---you can buy both chips on Ebay for less than 14 dollars plus shipping.

In lakes that are not clear I have trouble adjusting my x96.

This depends on how muddy or clear the water is. If muddy or there is a LOT of floating sediment in the water, most fishfinders will have trouble getting a good image through the dirty/brackish water. You might not be doing anything wrong in this case.

Sensitivity and grayline are your main adjustment settings, assuming you have your transducer located correctly at the right depth in relation to your hull and the waterline as well.

Does the clutter extend all the way from the surface to the bottom? If so, try reducing sensitivty... if clutter is moreso near the surface or top of the screen, then this is probably because the transducer is getting aerated water or distrubed water over it and causing the clutter and readings.

As a good rule, match the sensitivity setting tot he grayline setting. I.e. if you have sensitivity at 90%, put grayline at 90% also.

Hope that helps!

Levels/Settings

These height adjustments are designed so that they will not adjust when the handle is in the "back" position. This is so they will stay where they are set and not self-adjust while you are vacuuming. To change the setting, you need to return the handle to the upright position and the adjust the setting and the machine will go to that position when the handle is lowered.
