Question about Lexmark OfficeCenter X3350 All-in-One Printer

The x3350 printer has no power

When I hit the power button nothing happens.The USB cable is plugged into the appropriate spots and the electrical outlet seems to be working fine. The computer is in that same outlet. My daughter said it might be the power cord and not the USB cable.

    I have the same problem but the power cord is fine and works for other appliances. The printer acts as if it's not plugged in.

I plug my healthriderpro H 450i into a outlet that had no ground.It work for a little bit but turn off and nothing happens when I hit the reset button.What could be the problem?


The ground on the outlet is only for safety reasons. It will not affect the operation of the machine. Check for a fuse on the control board.

No power , computer will not turn on


Hi, IF the system is not turning on any more, try removing the power cable, then press the power button for 10 seconds. then try to power it on again . If it is still not powering up there could be an issue wiht the power supply of the computer. But if it start to turn on, like showing the Sony logo then windows but not going to the desktop. you can try to log on using safemode. you can go there by pressing F8 on the keyboard after turning on the computer. If it still not turning on even on safe mode. there couldbe an issue with the operating system of the computer and needs to be reinstalled.

Looks like it could be a memory problem. You could check if one or both of your memory is damaged by removing one at a time. The manual should have the procedure for adding / replacing memory.

Hey, my dell all in one printer 810 will not power on at all. I have measured the traffo into the printer and it reads 30vDV so it has power but will not start

Disconnect the unit completely from the AC outlet for 5 or 10 minutes, then plug it back again.It will works.
Also I suspect it may be a loose power switch, or a problem with the power supply.
If it is a USB printer that derives power through the USB cable and not from a seperate power cable, then check the USB cable. That may be the source of the problem if the cable is bad.
Try the following solutions in the order presented to resolve the issue...

Solution one: Press and quickly release the Power button
Press and quickly release the Power button ( ) to start a Power On/Off cycle. Do not hold down the button .
Press and quickly release the Power button
If you press and hold the Power button too long, the product might turn on and then off without restarting. If this happens, press and quickly release the Power button ( ) again.
If these steps resolved the issue , you do not need to continue troubleshooting.
If the issue persists , continue to the next solution.
Solution two: Check the electrical connections and outlet
Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet, or the power strip or surge suppressor.
NOTE: The power cord detaches from the power module. The term power supply refers to both the power module and the power cord.
Carefully inspect the power cord for visible damage.
If the power cord or power module shows any damage, contact HP to replace the power supply.
Disconnect the power supply from the back of the product.
Wait at least 30 seconds, and then plug the disconnected power supply into an electrical outlet. Do not use a power strip or surge suppressor.
If the green light (LED) on the power supply does not light up, contact HP to replace the power supply.
Reconnect the power module to the product.
Press and quickly release the Power button ( ) to turn the product on.
If the product still does not turn on, connect the product to an electrical outlet in another room, and then quickly press and release the Power button ( ) to turn on the product.
If the product turns on , the electrical outlet in the original room caused the issue.
If the product still does not turn on , continue with the next solution.
Solution three: Check the USB cable
Disconnect the USB cable from the back of the product.

Press the Power button ( ) to turn on the product.
If the product turns on with the USB cable disconnected , replace the USB cable.
If the product still does not turn on , continue to the next solution.
Solution four: Check the battery
If your HP product has a battery, follow these steps:
Check the battery light. If the light is red, recharge the battery.
If the battery light is still red after recharge, replace the battery.

2 - Remove the battery

Solution five: Replace the power supply

Solution six: Service the printer
If you have completed all the steps listed above and are still experiencing a problem, service the product.

My external hard drive won't turn on


Ok, this just happened to me, my western digital my book studio external drive was not booting up, i could hear the disk spinning, but it would then cut out and the light on the drive was never turning on. i called Western Digital customer support and found out that the proper way to connect a drive is to plug in the power cable FIRST then the data cable. Also, with the My Book Studio Edition you should never have to press the power button, the drive just turns on when you plug it in. Hope this helps somebody...

Hello- carriage jam


I was just getting ready to pull the plug on this printer of mine, and order a new one, when I happened on a solution that worked...

Unplug the unit.
Open the top.
Move the carriage to the left.
CLEAN the black plastic tray that the ink cartridge "parks" over - it seems to collect gunky ink that impedes the movement of the cartridge... also clean the "rail" hehind it. I used a Windex knock-off -- and Q-Tips, somebody else said they used alcohol.

Seems to have done the trick for me. I wasted so much time downloading drivers thinking that it was a hardware problem :-(

Won't turn on; no lights, no power.


Did you try a different outlet? The cord may have gone bad, most of the times I find that people don't pull the plug out of the outlet by the plug, they just pull the cord, or it got yanked out some other way and that will break the wire inside the cord. Other then that, it would have to be taken apart to find the problem.

Hi,

Try the resetting the printer to factory defaults.

Steps:

1.Turn the Printer OFF, unplug the power cabled from the back of the printer and from the wall outlet.

2.Then, Press and hold the ON button for 30 -60 seconds

3.Take the Ink Cartridges out, Unplug the printer power cable while its ON, press and hold CANCEL and COLOR COPY button and connect the Power cord while holding the buttons.keep Holding the buttons until the printer goes off ,release the button and Push the ON button.

No power


Hello, You might check the fuse - it is located in the end of the charger cable. The round end that plugs into your lighter unscrews and you will find a fuse in there. Also try plugging it into a USB port on your computer while it is running to see if that USB cable will charge it. If that does not work I would call tech support for the Unit and see if you can get it fixed or repaired under warranty. Good Luck - Dr. Know
