Software My parent's just bought me a Samsung Digimax S730 Digital Camera and I tried to install the software onto my Macbook Pro (I beleive it runs on os x) and it keeps saying there's a script error. PLEASE HELP!

may u need a driver instead. pics can tranfer anytime in the computer via copying and pasting it. other wise there is alot of software u can find in the internet

I am having to same problem, after bying a new $25 USB cable for it . Still does not recognise the S730 software I even downloaded the samsungcamera.com:english .

Type in: http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/photography/digital-cameras/compact/index.idx?pagetype=subtype into your computer. Then in the "FIND" window type " S730 " . Hit ENTER. It should give you a list of manals and downlaodable software for your camera.

be sure all of this is in you're browsers address line. and it will take you directly to the site....

you need the usb cord that came with the camera and you must install the software on your computer.

you can also get a memory card to put in it and memory card converter.

If it isn't too far out of your means, I don't use the software for my camera. I use a card reader. You can find a card reader for about $10 - $15 in most stores that will read 7 or more types of cards. I use my own photo software. Only accessed the disk for the pdf manual. My laptop has a built in card reader. You may be able to find a solution by letting your computer search for a driver on Microsofts site. Mine was automatically recognized on win xp. Hope this helps.

I've got the same problem, didnt notice it working on XP though, i'm on vista and became really dissapointed when i discovered the lack of audio on the videos... think im about to throw this camera out the window.
