Re: Cant get mp3 player to start

I had the same problem. Connecting it to my Linux server revealed that the filesystem was corrupted. After I ran a chkdsk /F /X and some other options (on a Windoze machine) and a reload of all files solved the problem. The Linux machine could still read all files so a backup was quickly made, the Windoze machine could not open the volume at all. After this, the stick worked again. My guess is that when the files are copied to fast, the file system chokes at different times and that causes the corruption. In the future I use the Windoze machine to copy files to the player. Succes

My mp3 player will not charge. I have tried

it should be the battery. Maybe its very weak.

Plug it to your laptop and allow it to charge for a long time. Make sure its turned off and even if it does not show any sign of charging, just leave it, it might come up itself.

But if this does not work, you will have to find a way to change the battery or get another player.

Take care.

My gpx mp3 works fine and turns on when it is plugged into my pc, but when I take it out (even fully charged) I cant get it to turn on anymore.......... any suggestions??

I think maybe your battery is relying on the USB connection for most of its power while connected to
your PC, but doesn't really hold a charge, and needs to be replaced.

MP3 Player won't work

I had the same problem too. What worked for me was rolling the battery while it is in the battery compartment and holding the play button at the same time.

Won't Work suddenly.

What is happening when you turn the device on? Does it go on and then shut off? If so you will have to reformat the drive for the mp3 player. Simply plug the mp3 player in and click the drive that appears for the player. It should say this device needs to be formatted. Then just follow the steps. Keep in mind you will lost your songs. If the device stays on, do you see your first song on the list. If you do, try pushing the play button, (very last one on bottom) hard.
