Question about SanDisk Sansa m240 MP3 Player
This mp3 player was working fine, and now I can't even get it to turn on, i've changed batteries and i've tried restarting it. Any suggestions? Thanks
I had the same problem. Connecting it to my Linux server revealed that the filesystem was corrupted. After I ran a chkdsk /F /X and some other options (on a Windoze machine) and a reload of all files solved the problem. The Linux machine could still read all files so a backup was quickly made, the Windoze machine could not open the volume at all. After this, the stick worked again. My guess is that when the files are copied to fast, the file system chokes at different times and that causes the corruption. In the future I use the Windoze machine to copy files to the player. Succes
