my remote wont work so i tried to reinstall the lcd but now cant get out of install page as remote wont work and menu button on side wont let me out but light flashes when being pressed. any ideas F.A.CUP weekend absolutely dsperate

You need to have that serviced,it sounds like the IR (infrared) reciever board is faulty. you can test your remote by turning the top of the remote (where the IR beam is sent from) to a camera phone and just look at the beam through your phone to see if its the remote or the IR Board
