on top there is a buton next to the power switch which selects the drive mode and toggles between single shot, self timer and burst mode.

The error 02 can come up when there is CF card problem : card not seated properly , card takes too long to come on line from the cameras point of view or if one of the the pins inside CF card chamber is faulty.

Do you have the dial set to either P, Tv, Av, M or A-DEP? It will only work in those modes, and will probably only be in the camera icon menu when the camera is set to one of those modes.
