Ok, i added 1 gig ddr2 667mhz chip, but it only shows that it has 1 gig ram inside, is there some way i can change this?? os windows xp, i ran cpu z to check if the rams there, and theres 2 gig ram, so is there way to make the daul channel active???
HI I TOO HAVE THE SAME BOARD ON A SAHARA LAPTOP. IT HAS TWO SLOTS. I USE 1GB IN ONE AND 2GB IN THE OTHER. HOWEVER DESPITE INTERCHANGING THE MODULES IN EITHER SLOT BOTH THE BIOS AS WELL AS THE OS RESGISTER 2GB RAM ONLY. CPU-Z SAYS SINGLE CHANNEL RAM. BUT SHOWS 3072MB SIZE!! I.E 3GB. MAYBE THE BOARD SUPPORTS ONLY A MAX OF 2GB RAM.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. Goodluck!

You need to have 6 gigs of free dynamic ram.(Not including that used by the operating system and any other applications you have.
The way that memory is organised in a computer these days is usually in pairs or DRAM (dynamic random access memory) sticks which are matched. This allows the CPU to withdraw data from both memory sticks in the same clock cycle (DDR double data rate) which improves the over all speed of the processing.
So legal combinations over 4 gigs which will use the dual channel feature on your motherboard will probably be.
2 x 4 gigs sticks = 8 Gig DRAM
2 x 8 gig sticks = 16 Gig DRAM
Below is the minimum specification requirement.
Note: MINIMUM Faster CPU better graphics card and More ram is better.
Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 2.66 GHZ / AMD Phenom X3 8750 2.4 GHZ or better
Windows 7 64-Bit / Windows 8 64-Bit
NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 / ATI Radeon HD 5870 or better

you've got 4GB of RAM, then you'll only see something link 3200MB
because some of the RAM may be shared/ dedicated for video OR most probably it is because 32 bit Windows Operating can't access 4GB Memory fully. (which 64Bit OS can access) For further details about your CPU and Graphic processor, I suggest that you download two small free utilities
Click here to download CPUz Click here to download GPUz These usefull utilities will provide you all the additional details about the RAM chips installed, their bus speeds, memory available for operating system and dedicated for graphics etc. Also, Check the memory bus speed, it should correspond to the FSB and the system should be running on 1:1 RAM to FSB Ratio (Or Higher) for optimum performance. System performance may suffer due to RAM failure (which I have come accross a few times) Click HERE to view my tip about RAM Check. I have been working with the systems troubleshooting, upgrade etc for years n my rule is to go by the book n check every component in order to identify the issue.
These are the system requirements for the M-Audio Fast Track USB input. Be sure that you meet these requirements, or else upgrade your system to meet them.

Hello, I´m from Argentina, then, sorry by my English. Try to install other XP, you can find in pages XP in English or Spanish, probably your problem is the language of your OS. After that, install Windows 7. If you fix the problem or not, please, write me at email@example.com and tell me then will find other solution.
