Question about Toshiba 51H83 51" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television

1 Answer

Crazy Picture The t.v. has a bunch of scrammbled lines from top to bottom. Sometimes a little stomp on the floor, are a shake of the t.v.(which i know is not good) clears it up for a bit. Just trying to get a little advice on what to do. It looks like when theres something scrambling your tv. The picture is there, but the lines make it a pain to see and rough on the eyes. It has gotten worse, I read were it may be a hyper module, if this is the case is it something I can fix myself, and if so how?

Need help to fix Monitor

It broke in transit. There's a connection to the screen broken, and shaking it makes it contact again. The case is held together with snaps, which are a pain to get apart but can be done with thin tools like putty knife or screwdriver. You might be able to find something loose, you might be able to solder it back on or just put some tape on it to keep it connected. You might just chuck it when it drives you crazy.

check to make sure it is sitting level on the floor and one leg adjuster hasnt backed in making it shake. But even when you stick cloths in evenly they can bunch up during cycles.

If it was new in 2006, it probably is not worth repairing.

Thread breaks right away and is all bunched up on the bottom stitch

ok u have a tension problem with the top of you system. also make sure that all thread is caln and no little pieces remain a cleanign kit should of come with your machinee. re thread both of the threads and pull on them there tension shoud be close to one another. use the top tensioner to adjust the top threads tension to amtch the bobbins this should fix the problem. also makle sure yoru not jerking around the material as the machine sews as it moves the neede and the bobbin catch tiomes gets off. use the stomp foot with the machine to help guide the cloth or abric. when you have to change directions. stop sewign and turn that fabric. this should also help prevent the bunching. please feel free to contact me at for any further assistance.

Front brakes feel mushy after being replaced

You have air in your break lines. The two ways you can solve this problem is have the breaks blead to get the air out of the lines, or you can take the top of the break reservoir and pump your breaks to the floor. DONOT DO THIS With the car moving. What this will do is force the air to the reservoir.

Toshiba 51h83 projection t.v. scrammbled lines across the screen.

I've seen this problem before with Toshiba sets. Normally it's been caused by the hyper module. Usually, the set is worst when first turned on and clears up some, if not completly after it warms up. The problem does get worst over time.
