Question about Amana ALW480DA Top Load Washer
Using online guides and suggestions, we repaired the broken belt on our Amana top-loading washing machine. Now it washes and agitates fine, but the spin cycle is so loud you have to shout to be heard in the same room . It is a whirring noise, like a jet before take-off. All parts are accounted for... what did we overlook or how do you fix this? Thank You.
It sounds like the belt is the wrong size meaning that it is to tight or to lose. Check to also make sure that the brake is disengaging and not rubbing on the drum
