My graphics card not working so i connected to vga but it cannot graphical support so i need to vga driver software

  • Anonymous May 11, 2010

What's this graphics card and VGA do you mean a graphics accelerator and integrated VGA respectively? if this is the case the driver comes with the CDROM, which comes with your PC or the website of the manufacturer usually have those drivers.

I am having a Problem with my video card not letting me run an addition monitor off the vga output on the motherboard. I know it works because I can go to the bios and change it and it works but they want...

When using a PCI or PCI-E graphics card, it will disable your standard VGA output port because the up-dated graphics card and your factory VGA port require different display drivers. Usually, the drivers are conflicting and will make your system unstable and cause it to crash. In short, you can't use both at the same time. I have a Radeon HD 5450 graphics card installed on my PC and it too has disabled my standard VGA port. If you are trying to use more than one monitor, you have to install a graphics card that supports a multiple display output. The graphics card will either have 2 VGA ports, 2 DVI-D ports or 2 HDMI ports or even any combination of the 3. My card, for example, has 1 VGA, 1 DVI-D & 1 HDMI. I can run up to 3 monitors at a time via my graphics card, but I cannot run a 4th monitor from my factory VGA port. My graphics card uses ATI/AMD drivers while my VGA port requires the use of Nvidia drivers.
I hope that you find this useful.

No vga

Make sure you have connected the VGA cable to the right VGA socket. If you have one on the motherboard and have a separate one on the graphics card, the graphics card usually takes priority over the motherboard one. If its not the case, remove the graphics card and then check in the BIOS to make sure the graphics card has priority an connect the VGA cable to it.

Obviously if the graphics card lacks VGA connectors and only offers DVI or HDMI connectors you will need an adapter to make the VGA work on the card.

Analog output cannot display video mode

Hi, there!
Please check the connection of DVI or VGA cable which connect between your computer box and monitor. Check at the back of your computer box, how many VGA ports(the blue port)? If your computer box have 2 VGA ports( one in-built on-board and one from added graphic card), always connect to the one from added graphic card, not the one on-board. Hope this help. Thanks for readin.

Vga driver not found

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect your hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions IDE,SATA

the leads from your "((motherboard to your hard drive))" make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty

make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electric extensions or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs its connections to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error If your computer came with a motherboard disc the drivers could be on it or you might have a dirty graphics card remove the graphics card and clean the socket

hope this helps

Hello again, i have managed to get the drivers for my radeon x1650 pro 512mb installed and removed the old drivers for my other graphics card, the computer restarted so the installation could take effect...

One of two things I 'see'.

1.Not to insult you, but do you have the monitor plugged into the graphics card? Hey! I've had people do it! They plugged the monitor back into the motherboard VGA port. (If you don't have a DVI connector on your monitor cable, there is an adapter you can buy. VGA to DVI. Make sure you get the Female VGA to Male DVI version)

2.You have a driver conflict. Even after you removed the old drivers, there are still drivers giving you a hassle. The drivers CD for your ATI needs to be installed first. Load the software, shut the computer down, unplug it from the surge protector, THEN install the ATI graphics card.

If you install a graphics card first, before installing the software for it, Windows will recognize that a new device has been installed, and try to match up it's generic drivers.
Then Windows goes 'crazy' trying to decide which drivers it should use.

S3 graphics twisterK

To make a long story short, the answer is no. Games that require 64mb VGA won't work with your hardware. drivers or software won't fix that only a hardware upgrade will do it. Plus s3 brand cards are notorious for bad driver support.

It all depends what kind of games you wish to play, you can probably play all the older games like Quake or Half-Life or older than 1997 just fine on your system with that video card. But you won't be able to play almost any of the newer 3d games out there. If you want to play new games like Battlefield 2 for example, you would at least need a new Nvidia or ATI brand video card on a brand new computer.
