Mine is the RCA 24v511T 26" RCA. Mine keeps turning on and off. Even manually turning it on and off does not work. When it is plugged in it keeps turning on and off on its own.

For open and off tv
check circuit breaker for over load,,might have lost contact or open resistor connected or check parts
that may have change in its value when supply conected.

This is a very common problem on Honda vehicles. The security system is known to fail. Basically when you insert your key, the system checks for certain signal. If the system cannot get the correct signal from the key, it assumes the key is incorrect and goes into SECURITY lockout mode. (prevents hotwiring) This has been happening for a long time. There are ways to bypass this now. Read through this page for info, solutions as well.

All the wires are hooked up to my radio correctly but when i crank my car or turn the key back the radio doesn't come on. then when i cut the park lights on the speakers make some kind of flickering noise...

I think you need to check your power wires to your radio. This is a common mistake. There are several power wires to deal with. One wire stays hot to keep the clock and radio presets working. The second is Hot when the key is turned on. The third is hot when you turn on your lights for instrument lighting. If you connected this wire for your power source, You would have this problem you are describing. If it's wired correctly, Check the ground wire to the radio. Hope this helps.

Power cuts out while driving but just for a second, but the car keeps going after that, and on the dash one of the lights blink and it says security.

if your security starts to flash check the battery connections on the body & on the motor loose connection can cause this the car thinks someone is trying to steal it when you disconnect the battery or change the battery you have to make sure that you know the security code / or if it is passive the key to open lock then open the door to reset the code

TV turns off after a few moments but come back on again after a few seconds

Remove the lamp and check to see if the connections of the lamp and the lamp driver(ballast) are ok or they look bit burned. Also the lamp should always be replaced first especially if is two years old or more.
Check to see how many times the error indicator flashes. If it flashes 5 times then the lamp driver is probably defective.
common problems are lamp and lamp driver(ballast).
let me know if you need more help.
Good luck.

This particular model has a history of this problem.

This sounds like a safety feature built into the television. It may be trying to protect itself from an unsafe electrical source. The more expensive the equipment, the more sophisticated the power supply that converts the power from your outlet into your television. There could have been a lightning strike that has disabled the tv. Or it could be a faulty outlet.
Before called for a technician, I recommend plugging the television into a different outlet. use a good quality extension cord if necessary. You may find that your outlet is not polarized correctly.

Sony LCD Projection TV turning OFF!!!

I also have a Sony KDF-42WE655 42" Lcd television. We just changed the lamp (bulb) several weeks ago and has noticed that everytime we turn on the television it stays on about 30-40 seconds then cuts off. After about 15-20 seconds it cuts itself back on. Weird!! It must have something to do with changing the bulb!?!?
