Question about Acer TravelMate 2300 Notebook

Blank Screen I have just loaded broadband on my laptop, my screen went blank with the cursor blinking of and on in the top left hand corner of the screen. I have restarted several times, removed the battery, now at a lost what to do are you able to help?

    Have done this, removed disc from drive, rebooted still no change.

First thing to do is make sure you don't have any disks in the drive. It could be trying to boot from a non-bootable disk.

My laptop screen just went blank when i turned it on this morning. I only see a blinking cursor on top left of the screen


That blinking cursor is the way in which the BIOS is telling you that Windows is missing - its most critical core files have been corrupted beyond repair. The only thing left for you to do is to reinstall Windows using the recovery cd.

That blinking cursor is the way in which the BIOS is telling you that Windows is not loading because its most critical, core files have been corrupted beyond repair. The only thing you can do is to reinstall using the recovery cd or your own Windows install disk.

yea yur harddriv crashed... try formattin yur drive and create a new partion and load OS .. if it still doesn work then yu ll have to replac yur drive..

After power on screen show nokia logo then blank off


Your device is experiencing software issues. You try by removing the battery for 30 seconds and then replacing it. This is soft reset. If the device still fails to load software, then you should visit your local repair shop for a replacement.
