Henry Hudson was born in London, England in 1565 to a wealthy family. Not much is known about his early life but in 1607 he was chosen to captain a voyage to find a northern route to Asia, the first of several voyages the explorer would take before his final voyage in 1611.
There is still other problem beside the fuse. Check the cord, power switch. Often they are the most usable and abuse parts of the vacuum. The cord are often bend, roll over the floor. While the switch is the almost use before and after the vacuum is used. Thanks for asking.
The most common cause of this problem would be breakage of the wires in the power cord at the point of entry to the vacuum cleaner body. With the power connected you may be able to prove this by flexing the cord at this point, particularly by pushing the cord toward the body of the vacuum cleaner. If you get any signs of life from the vacuum cleaner you can know that this is the issue (not a foolproof test, but one that can be performed safely, provided that there is no visible damage to the lead).
A qualified repairer will ensure that the vacuum cleaner is not plugged in to the power, open the vacuum cleaner casing, note the wiring connections, disconnect the wiring and and strip the external sheath of the cable back to a point beyond the breakage, cutting off the damaged section of wiring and reconnecting the wires.

Hello, I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. I am sorry that Henry Hoover is having a problem with his cordwinder and what happens that the cord tends to overlap the other cord inside of the vacuum and what needs to be done is this; #1 take apart the cordwinder and unwrap al the cord all the way out then re-wrap the cord and re-install #2, if that does not work then lubricate the cordwinder but not the cord to have it work more efficiently, and #3 if all else fails replace the cordwinder with a new one. Always when using the cordwinder, always pull out everything until the end to use the cord all the way out to prevent the cord from over lapping and binding up inside the Henry Hoover. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions. http://www.hoover.comTelephone Contact our Customer Service Department at 1.330.499.9499 Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. EST Don – The Vac Man Go Ahead.Use Us.
