Question about Acer Aspire 4315-2490 Notebook
I have an Acer Aspire, and it was working fine about a month ago. All of the sudden, my laptop stopped charging. I checked all the outlets, but noticed that it was my power cord that wasn't working. At first glance, the light on the cord is off, but if you look at it closely, you can see that it is faintly blinking. It works on and off, but I obviously want it to work consistently. Help?
Unfortunately the components in your adapter are slowly becoming defective. If your device is under warranty consult your manual or the manufactures web site in regards to their return and replacement policy.
If your device is no longer under warranty, you have three options. You can purchase direct from the manufacturer, or from a third-party seller. Which is the best option, given the quality of the original equipment manufacture being higher then that of a off-brand or "universal" adapter.
However, a universal adapter is a good choice, economically, just be reminded of the adage that you get what you pay for.
