Question about MPC Computers ClientPro 125D PC Desktop

Need tech support MPC is now defunct

My MPC computer just crashed. I now discover that MPC has folded. Any tech support out there?

    I pull the plug off my MPC when it remained frozen for too long. I reconnected the power and tried all today to switch the unit on but with now success. Pls advice what may have happen and how can help.

    Mine is a MPC ClientPro 414 All in One

    what do you mean "crashed"? did the arm actually crash the discs on the hardrive? if so it is still possible to save everything, or it just wont boot up? or something else?

If memory serves (I used to work in tech support at MPC until they went out of business) that model did not have the feature. USB booting came out after this unit came to its end of life, so no update was ever provided to add the feature

I have a legal copy of 321 studios and need to install it on another computer. However the process requires, internet connection (to a defunct company), Phone call (to a defunct co.) or orginal computer...

If you have legal copy then you can find serial number for registered it.
You can get it from disk cover or disk surface.
Then you can enter that serial number when you install software it ask for serial key so it registered.
But if you are unable to get serial key then drop an email to this software manufacturer web sites supports or login with id and password on that web sites then you can get serial key for register it without internet.

MPC computer will not boot up in normal mode

when you boot up in safe mode, try a system restore to before you started having problems, worked for me a few times, if not you could try a windows repair but you will need a OS disk

Mpc 500

First ensure that you are saving into the right folder, on MPC HD and not into a subfolder, and that files are in correct midi format. Also ensure that connections to MPC are OK.

If connections and saved files are ok, then probably you need to reinstall Mpc 500software onto your computer, using disk provided with your Mpc 500.

u go to dos mode to using boot disk or ,press F8 after post screen,then select dos mode and type in dos mode as 'chkdsk'
follow onscreen instruction ,thats all ,thats ok ,restart the pc then try again ,thats working i hope

Defunct drive

You could rebuild the defunct drive with the raid program on your server.

i don't know your type and model of your server.

8488 or 8648 and the model 3 digits.

for this you need serveraid manager

please do not update your firmware or drivers at this point if applicable.

if rebuild of a defunct drive doesnt work you'll need to change the drive. remember in a raid 5 you need min. 3 drives.
