Windows doesn't support plug and play until Windows Me. Upgrade to Windows XP. Be sure your computer has the minimum requirements for Windows XP before changing the opperating system.

Hii i have richo c2530 printer and i change my pc now when i conect the printer with lan port it gives yelow colouer in network even i conecet usb prot and when i print somthing it gives me eroor info...

Hello!
If you change the conections to the machine you need to change the port of the driver.
For exemple: If your machine is conected by TCP/IP you need to put the correct port in the driver properties.
If you conect to USB you need to chenge the port in the driver properties to the USB option.
If you have any doubt reply to me. I will be glad to help you
See you!

How a conect to internet

METHOD 1 - Using Internet connection using DSL or cable connection.
1st. If you wish to connect to the Internet with a LAN cable or a wirelessly and if your computer doesn't have a LAN card or wireless LAN card you need to purchase a LAN card (to configure the wireless router) and if you want a wireless connection you will also need to purchase a wireless LAN card.
2nd. You need to select an Internet Service Provider in your area with a plan and cost to suit your requirements.
3rd. You need to decide what type of broadband connection you need, DSL or cable modem with or without a built-in wireless router, the Internet Service Provider can assist you with this.
5th. The Internet Service Provider can supply these items or advise you what make and model to purchase. They will also provide information on how to connect and setup your Internet connection.

METHOD 2 - Using USB wireless adapter that plugs into the laptop's USB port. It doesn't need a wireless router or a cable or DSL modem.
This is used mostly on laptop computers which allows Internet access anywhere the Internet Service Provide has a wireless transmitter. It uses the G3 mobile system.
This type of service usually costs more and again you need to select an Internet Service Provider that can provide the wireless coverage, the plan and costs that suit your requirements.
Installation and setting up information is supplied by the ISP.

Need network connection but no RJ45 port

There are several ways to install a RJ45 port..plug a PCMCIA (or what ever) card bus it will work as an adapter for what you want. Another way would be to get an adapter that you can plug RJ45 broadband into one end and the other end goes to your computer is a USB. If your are using win98 the later could give you headaches because win98 does have usb drivers...you'll have to find them elsewhere.
newegg has them follow the link below:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2000260034%201178312020&name=PCMCIA%20Ethernet%20Adapter

copy and paste

Good luck my friend, hope this helps, please leave rating, thank you kindly

I have Windows 98 and I need to download drivers for my USB DRIVE HOW AND WHERE CAN i DOWNLOAD

First you need win98SE (the Second Edition), still not sure that it will work I guess you try to conect a USB 2.0 device, I think that it will be better if you buy a 4 port USB 2.0 PCI card, install in an empty mainboard slot then install the USB drivers that come with the card and connect the device, be sure to ask the dealer for compatibility before you buy.

Toshiba Satellite 5005-S504 3 USB Ports not functioning

I don't think a wire is the problem as they are soldered to mobo. It is more than likely a power problem. If you go to the hardware tab in device manager and go down to usb root hub>right click and properties then look at the power tab and you will see a 500MA allowance on usage. You can easily go above these if you are using them, so check that they are all active. Also go to control panel>admin tools>services and look down list for 'plug n play' and make sure it is set at automatic and 'universal plug and play' is set at manual
