Question about Dryers
Kenmore 70 Series Dryer Moved to a new place. Had to change to a 4 prong cord. Dryer won't start, but makes a faint noise. Dryer says 240v/28a, power outlet says 250v/30a. Any help greatly appreciated.
Check your wiring first. Should be something like this... (disregard the tacky comment, I made this for someone else)
Make sure all connections are good and tight.
After you have verified the wiring, let me know if it does the same thing, OK? ('cause it may be that the motor has seized. If that's the case, we'll step through that then)
