File error
Hi
After taking about 20 photos, I went back to view them & the last 6 had disappeared showing only a blue screen & file error on the display. I then took another picture which was there for the 2 second delay, then when I went to view it, it had disappeared. I took 2 more photos today & both are currently still there when I view, however, 1 has shrunk to a tiny square in the middle of the display! When I copied them to my pc, the photos that disappeared show no preview available, but there is something there as the file size for each image is approx 2.4 mb - but where is the picture??? HELP!! I have a 2GB Sony memory stick Pro Duo card in the camera. Could it be a faulty card?

I have seen this problem with generic SD memory cards so it could be a faulty memory stick. Try to get a replacement. If you want to try to recover the pictures you have taken, I suggest Zero Assumption Recovery (Google for it). Check to see if it is compatible with your camera before downloading.
