Question about Sewing Machines

Open Question

Need instructions how to hook to internet to download designs. I have the 1000 digatizer.

I bought a Janome 1001 2 yrs. ago with the promise of instructions of how to connect to the internet to download designs and get all the help I needed but when I ask for the instructions from the shop the lady told me she didn't really know that much about it and didn't have internet in her shop. She informed me she was really a Quilt Shop and didn't know that much about the embroidery parts of a machine. Now she has closed up her shop and at least 2 of us are very upset that we still don't know how to operate that part of our machines. I also don't have instructions for using the very large hoop nor the 2" one. I had an 8000 for 15 years and finally wore it out so am not new to sewing. I would appreciate any help you might give me. Thanks. Linda

I bought a janome 300e .ive purchased designs and have downloaded to my computer. I've transferred them to a disk. . On the computer it says that the designs were transferred.

Check that the designs are not in a folder on the disk. Your sewing machine may need to open that folder before the designs can be found.

Also, check to make sure the OS software on your computer is compatible with your sewing machine. Some sewing machines use Windows 7 or even earlier versions, whereas most new computers now have Windows 8 or 10.

Where can I get memory cards for my Janome 9000

I own the MC9000. I bought the Magic Box plus and I download designs from embroidery websites and transfer them to the memory card (ATA PC card) that came with the Magic Box. It is rewritable so I just switch out designs as I please. I bought the Magic Box about 5 years ago and paid $200 for it. It is super easy to use. I hope this helps.

Machine given as a gift no instructions can i down load instructions and print of

We need to know the model number. Is it a Memory Craft 3000 or 9000? Another model number? Also, be prepared that as a Janome you will probably have to pay for the manual IF it is even found. They are tough to find.

Get back to me with a comment back on the model number and I can do a specified web-wide search. I've also got a number of specific sites I use to look for free sewing manual downloads, but Janome's are tough ones to find. I promise to leave no stone unturned, though! That's a nice gift to get!

I have just bought the janome 9700 and can't find the Customizer 1000 anywhere that I can import designs, edit, and transfer them to your ATA card. Is anyone able to help This is my first embroidery...

You may not need the customizer 1000.

If you go to secretsofembroidery you can download a trial of Embird.

Create a folder on the hard drive of your PC and download a couple free designs from the Internet.

They may be zipped files and you will have to open or extract all.

The opened file is what you will work with. Open it with Embird and "save as" using the format for your embroidery machine.

Find the new design with the janome format and send it to the ATA card.

Insert the card into the embroidery machine.

You can find more information at the Janome site - http://janome.com/index.cfm/LearningCenter/Software_Lessons/82_Transferring%20Designs/113_MC10000_or_MC10001_version_3.0/Writing_To_An_ATA_PC_Card_(MC10001,_10000_V3.0)

Check that the onboard memory is not full, and if it is, remove some (delete after saving) and try loading the new ones....
Phone the dealer where you bought it if you have no joy, they are there to help, or find out more for you.

Transfer designs to my blank memory card

You need a a Reader/Writer box with a blank Janome memory card (PCMCIA) and Cusomizer software. With that you can move your downloaded .sew designs into Customizer and on to the card via the Reader/Writer box provied that they are within the allowable size constraints.

JANOME MEMORY CRAFT 5700 INSTRUCTION BOOK

Hi, I downloaded (for free) a copy of the Envision 8006 (and 8007 supplement) manual from the Elna website 2 1/2 years ago. The Envision 8007 is the same as the Janome Memory Craft 5700. I can email you a copy of the manual.

Just today  i got out my little janome i bought years ago and it is this model.  There was no "manual" with the machine.  All that came with it is a large 20X14 two sided print out.  I can scan and send this to you with an email address.

Euro-Pro 534DX Feet/Parts

Europro are made by Janome, so I would suggest phoning your local Janome dealer in the first instance to seek basic advice........

If they are not certain you would do well to take the machine into the shop to ensure a correct fit.
