Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
Can i plug my ethernet chord to my labtop from my 360 if im bumming a connection off my neighbor, and still get a good enough connection to play halo 3 online if not any suggestions
Hi there. You should be able to. You'll just need to setup a new shared network so that the laptop will let the ethernet port share the internet.
Hope that helps

Have you got the internet connected to your Xbox 360? If so, i have two relevent answers:
1: Don't press update, i've heard that the update is not a necessity to playing the game.
2: Contact the store that you rented it from or; Contact microsoft and tell them the problem.
If you haven't got the internet connected to your xbox 360 then it WON'T work.
