My fridge is freezing my food. I have a bottom freezer.

change the temperature sensor its not working fine
cause the compressor is working all time never stops
this is located inside a metal box with a dial

maybe the fridge is set on a colder setting and if that's not it then stick it on the lower shelves and that might help from not freezing because are fridge is the same way when it is stuck by the coolant fan

Most likely reason is fridge evaporator sensor faulty. The sensor is screwed to the back wall of the fridge behind bracket next to light and has a green band near the end . The sensor come as a repair kit (part no. 7323301). Just follow instructions in the packet.It is quite straight forward

Hi,the problem you are encountering is as a result of the fact that the thermostat which regulates the cooling temperature in the fridge/freezer is bad hence there is no regulation of the cooling temperature in the fridge/freezer section, hence the food in the fridge freezes up.

The solution is to replace the thermostat of the unit,here is how you go about it;

1.You have to disconnect the fridge from the power source.
2.Locate the thermostat at the bottom of the unit,at the top left corner above the condenser.
3.Now you need to locate the wire ends or wire harness and unplug them.
4.Replace the thermostat,reconnect it back,put the back cover back and you have completed the job.

you have the air flow regulator in the bottom of the fridge close to bottom compartment wide open experiment by closing it gradually till you have the desired result.

Check the compressor with a volt meter, if the compressor is getting proper voltage then check the relay. But this sounds like a problem with the compressor

This locks the system into a continuous run mode and could be responsible for the freezing condition in the refrigerator section. Check the temperatures with a thermometer as the sensor for the freezer temperature could be bad causing the light to come on.
