My color Jaser jet 2600n does not recognize the new yellow print cartridge. I have tried two and they are right out of the box

If they are not genuine HP cartridges, they may be and are likely defective.....even two of them. I have seen it a millon times. Try putting the old one back in and see if the problem persists if it does not they are defective cartridges. Replace with genuine HP cartridge.

Unable to install #40 & #41 ink into Canon PIXMAMP190. #40 pushes overhead clip out so far that #41 will not snap in.

All printers will have the same cartridge number, with a sub-designation for the color, which could contain.. example: CK40BK ( Black ) CK40CY ( Cyan ) CK40MA ( Magenta ) CK40YE ( Yellow ), your color designators may vary, but your cartridge number will not. Recheck the #'s of the ones that do fit, throw away the ones that don't, they won't take returns on opened cartridges. When you get the right ones again, tear off the end tab of the box that shows any #, put it in your wallet for awhile... #40 & #41 will not work in the same printer.

Take out the catridge and check for the following:

1. At the base of the cartridge where a chip like item is, take off or strip off a glue like label if its on the chip surface of the cartridge.

2. Make sure you place the black and colour cartridge at the right positions.

3. Check the Cartridge bay in the printer (i.e where you place the cartridge in the printer) for the right color description to help you place the cartridge properly.

4. Lastly check the cartridge pack or printer manual to make sure the cartridges are compactible with the printer, else return them to the shop for replacement

Changing Dell 3000cn printer cartridge

The instructions always come with the new cartridges and also are printed on the new cartridges. You move the right hand (colored) side up to unlock. Carefully pull the cartridge up and out (you can screw up the gears if you don't put the cartridges in and out straight. Make sure you've followed the instructions that come with the new toner cartridge (removing tape, shaking), put it in the same way and move the right hand side down to lock.

Black Cartridge Not Being Used While Printing

try printing in monochrome mode or gray-scale mode, and specify that it use only the black cartridge.

another problem could be that the head have gotten dry, remove the cartridge, get a soft cotton towel, wet it with a little bit of water, put the head of the cartridge (where the ink comes out from) on the cotton towel, you will see some ink come out of the cartridge, if yes, then put the cartridge back into the printer, and give it a try.

if not try to blow some air into the cartridge as if doing CPR ;) to the cartridge, this will help the ink get out of the cartridge.

if all this fails, get a new cartridge, as sometimes the head could have gotten damaged.

good luck

New ink cartridge not working properly

if you open the lid of the printer you should have the ink slide to have you take it out.
I would unplug the printer for about 5min and then plug it back in and then it should ask you to redo it again.
