Sager d47v no video (by 2 users)

and the other day it randomly stopped displaying anything. It boots up normally, but the LCD is blank, and if I plug an external monitor in, the monitor is blank too. Is it something as simple as the lid switch being stuck (and if so, where is it...I can't find it), or is something blown?

It could be a lid switch. Get it on long enough to go into the power settings, turn the option of "lid closed" to "do nothing". If this does not help there are only 2 other things affecting it. 1. cable, internal to the machine that may be bad or 2. The video card on the MB itself. If its the latter, you will need to replace the MB or probably be cheaper to buy a new laptop.
