Question about Onkyo TX-SR705 Receiver
I own an Onkyo Sr705. I have PS3, HD DVD and Verizon DVR hooked up on this receiver via HDMI. Oh, it's hooked on a Panasonic plasma too via HDMI. PROBLEM: Whenever I would like to watch TV, I have no choice but to also turn the Sr705 receiver own (set on cable/sattellite). I would like to watch tv without using the receiver. Please advise. Thank you!
You can not have a signal from cable/satelite TV when reciever is OFF.The only way is reconnect by using defferent setup configuration to illiminate the receiver. In that case you well see just regular Tv program but you should connect antena to your TV.
