Question about Computers & Internet
I have a AT&T provided Gateway 2 wire router and they installed a Netgeat wireless firewall router with it. All of a sudden my PC's can not get out on the wireless. Says can't find the server. When I disconnect from the Netgear and hard wire to the laptop it will go out on the DSL service. Do I need to replace the Gateway unit in order to get wireless?
I think the 2wire router has a separate password setup to configure the wireless access. Go to your ISP provider's website and search Internet Help & Support/ Modems and see if there are not instructions to guide you. If you can't find anything, perhaps this link will lead you in the right direction...
I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
