Question about Cosco Beatrix Potter Playard Crib

1 Answer

Center of playard not locking

Evenflo playard - looks much like the cosco beatrix potter playard. All 4 sides lock, but the center doesn't, leaving a "hill" in the center where the baby would be. No help on their website! The instructions just say, "push down" to lock. Thanks for any ideas

I did check out the video, but the center doesn't "lock" the way it's shown there. I called Evenflo and the rep told me that it can't be fixed and they also don't make playards any more so they can't replace it. They offered a $59 credit toward different Evenflo product - which I don't need. I'll have to buy a playard from another manufacturer. Thanks anyway

How do you disassemble the Cosco Funsport Play Yard?

Steps to disassemble.1) Pull up on the loop in the center.2) Flip the Funsport upside down3) Pick a side and pull the corners up slightly while pushing the center down. Sides can only move up about an inch.4) Press the release catch in the center of the bar.5) Pull the center of the bar up while holding the release catch in. Sometimes you have to wiggle the catch in and out to get it to release.6) Repeat for each side.7) After each side is collapsed squeeze everything together.8) Place the cover on the floor black side down.9) Put the Funsport on the cover with the plastic corners flush with the edge of the cover. The wheels should be sticking out the bottom.10) Wrap the cover around the Funsport and secure the velcro straps.

We cannot get the hinges to release on our cosco play yard. So that we can fold it for carrying We have read the directions and squeezed as hard as we can in the center but it still won't release to fold...

Try pushing the hinge more as if you are locking it in place, before you squeeze to release.
i.e. If when the hinge releases it goes 'up' - push 'down' firmly on the hinge, squeeze to release and then pull up.

The sides are like elbows. You have to hyper-extend the elbows upward to get them to lock. It took my husband's strength on the longer sides.

I cant get it lock so baby can play in it!!!!!

you can try pulling the middle piece up and keep it up while pulling the sides into place, they should lock and you shouldn't be able to push on they and have them collapes. After the sides are in place, push the middle piece down and that should do it.

you also need to hold one of the middle indicator tabs on the longer side..because if you don't do that it will not shut... and make sure the 2 legs go inside with the center of the play pen
