Playback on recorded disk

I made a recording of a t.v. program. When attempting to playback, I get a "data file" error message and a "invalid disk" message. I used a Memorex DVD+RW for the recording. Is there a way I can get the recording to run?

The DVD has burned incorrectly and the data has likely corrupted somewhat to the point where the DVD player/writer can't read it. You may be able to watch it on your computer with a DVD drive. Try saving it to your computer, then erasing the disc and trying to record something short to it and play it back - if it plays back, it's likely to have been a recording problem, however, if you get the same problem, it may be a dodgy disc, a faulty DVD player/writer, or a format problem. Try this, in order left to right. Copy DVD to PC -> Erase DVD -> Record on DVD from TV -> Play back If plays back Erase DVD -> Continue as normal If not Buy DVD-RW (emphasis on the minus) -> Try using that If that works continue as normal, otherwise... Return the DVD player/writer under warranty for repair/replacement.

Playback of Topup TV Sky / ESPN Recordings

I am just guessing but you may have an ant-copy signal embedded into program signal causing to when you are trying to look at a recording to another source. If that is the case then there is one way that would work. You need to connect inline with the video line out to the in of the other unit (yellow) and that would solve the problem. Go to xdimax.com and check out a dimax signal adaptor( can not recall what it goes by,description-wise) This is almost like trying to use a hdmi output and a audio/video connection at the same time.This also happened when doing the same with some video decks (vcr)

Error: asio system overload 10011 and invalid input settings 10021

Hi there,
I am not sure what platform you are using or what software, but I would recomend unistalling the edirrol completely. Then re-dowload all the drivers and re-install them completely. Remove all traces from your recording software also before reinstalling.
Please give a bit more iformation on your setup if this is still a problem.

Best of luck

I have a JVC GZ-MG330. Today I was recording, and then got the "video management file is broken to record/playback video. Recovery is required. Recover?" I have replied OK, it goes to recover, and when it...

Do not be that worried, in this case you still have chance to get back those video chips and you may need video recovery software to help, here are some programs you may rely on. Both programs can also recover photo and music files.

Video Photo Recovery Software (for Windows)
Mac Video Photo Recovery Software (for Mac OS X)

Tips:
Take the memory card or stick out and connect to your computer via a card reader. Before your videos are recovered, do not attempt to save more files to the JVC memory card or stick in case the original files(your videos) are overwritten.

How do you remove a recorded answering machine message

Settings:
In Settings dialog you can set the following options for Best Answering Machine:

* Greetings - allows setting up the greetings played on pick-up;
* Active in profiles - defines in which profiles the application will pick-up the phone and record messages;
* Storage - allows selecting on which disk the records will be saved;
* Pick up after - sets the time after which the call will be answered;
* Record time - maximum amount of time the message is being recorded;
* Format - message file format (amr,wav);
* Icon - configures the visibility of the icon displaying application activity and presence of new messages; depending on this parameter, can be shown in standby screen only (Phone application) or in any application;
* Play volume - play volume for the greeting;
* Records lifetime - automatically removes old messages;

Messages:
In this view you can listen to new and old messages, delete unnecessary messages, send the recorded messages and call the person directly from this view.

During the call:

When Answering Machine is processing an incoming call, you will see a dialog showing the application's progress with the ability to stop it:

* Answer - when this command is chosen during a call, it stops greeting playback or message record and you can continue talking to the caller;
* Hang up - stops greeting playback or message recording and terminates the call; hope this will be helpful...

Try using 8x and lower DVDs and -R ones; try cleaning with CD cleaning disk and then try recording a few min again. If that doesn't help try unplugging and waiting about 30min then put in disk that was previously recorded and go to last item and play it to end (if 2hr long skip to last skip and then play until it finishes) - now try just recording a few min using the manual DVD record button and see if error comes up again - usually this unplugging somehow resets everything. Hope this helps ya'll.
