I got new moultre 555i trail camera from box store, and noticed tape on box when i got it home ,ya someone at box store put a defective camera on shelf, well it's locked up wont go to menu. I can get code numbers to change, but it wont enter em.

The replacement tray is $10.

I have Same problem with same camera. I called Moultrie they told me to hard reset and walked me through steps. I am going to try it out when i get home. Hope it works or they will be hearing back from me

The red light is the infrared, this is not a white flash camera you can view pic on that camera by going to playback. How to get there hit your menu button go to camera setup and then go to playback and hit enter you should see them then. If still not working call Moultrie 8006533334 option 1 and 1 for a live person will need equipment to troubleshoot the issue.
