Question about Computers & Internet
Hello please my pc just cant boot from the hard disk, even though the hard disk can boot when inserted into another pc.i tried installing a fresh copy of windows but when it reached a point where it was supposed to boot from the disk, it stopped with the message- ;disk error;. Ihave checked all the cable connections. please help me out.
Check the jumper settings, for this take out the hard drive and check the small jumper should be attached to master point. your cd rom should be on the slave the same way...reconnect the hard drive and restart ..after restarting goto bios . advanced configuration> boot options>first boot device> select hard disk and save exit. restart the pc

Is the BIOS settings ok? Try changing the Molex power Connector or Change the power Supplies. Hope this helps
